Prepare for an evaluation
Choose a Salesforce sandbox
Plan to evaluate with representative test records and non-sensitive sample files before considering a production rollout.
Identify your storage owner
Decide who administers the cloud storage account, access policies, region and storage-provider billing.
Map user and admin responsibilities
List who should upload, view, download and administer files. The released permission requirements will need to be checked against those roles.
Review the published release requirements
Wait for the verified package, supported providers, file-size limits and rollback guidance before installing.
